Party Members For This Famously Destructive Girl! (この名物娘にパーティーメンバーを！, Kono Bakuretsu Musume ni Pātī Menbā wo!) is the sixteenth chapter of the KonoSuba Bakuen manga series, and covers Chapters 1 to 2 in Volume 3 of the light novels.

Megumin on her way back to the inn following her boardgame match with Yunyun passes by a banana stall managed by the blue-haired woman and the young man in a jersey.
Summary[]
Megumin casts another Explosion outside Axel's walls, which annoys the guard because the craters she makes require a lot of work to fill, so Megumin explains how she cannot practise her Explosion further away from town or monsters attracted by the cacaphony will eat her up while she is immobile. After the guard while carrying her back inside town advises her to find a party, Megumin broods on how following her defeating the Mega Slime, no more member advertisements for wizards got posted, prompting her to release her pent-up frustration every day. The blue-haired woman then heads out the gate as she whines about their new labourious job of carting in dirt to fill the craters, at which the young man in a jersey reminds her of how she made all the bananas they were supposed to sell at their last job disappear without a trace and got them sacked.
Upon Megumin returning to the Guild following a scuffle outside between a delinquent adventurer and a Swordmaster, she notices a girl standing up and rushing towards the bulletin board to tear a party recruitment advertisement away. Catching up to grab her advertisement, Megumin reads how it seeks a wizard that doesn't use Explosion Magic. Already riled at how everyone is discriminating against Explosion Magic, upon the girl recounting the rumours of a crazy Crimson Magic girl casting Explosions whenever she sees a monster, Megumin starts chanting to the horror of the Guild's occupants, until Luna reminds her that she will be jailed if she casts Explosion in town.
Grasping that nobody wants a wizard who can only cast Explosion Magic, Megumin finds Yunyun building a house of cards, which then gets toppled by Chomusuke to its builder's shock. She subsequently suggests that they form a party for a while, but that only makes Yunyun mad, since she had soon after Arnes' defeat declared how they should not be in the same party. Following a quarrel between the two, the both of them get kicked out by Luna.
The next day, Yunyun teamed up with Megumin defeats three Giant Toads with Fireball outside Axel's walls, but displeased that only Yunyun is defeating them, Megumin suggests they head towards the forest, where Yunyun can take care of the small monsters while she defeats the wanted Demon, a proposal that Yunyun agrees to after hearing how she will be scouted by everybody afterwards.
Later in the forest that Megumin finds strangely quiet, Yunyun theorises the monsters are laying low because of the Demon, a phenomenon which Megumin feels had also occurred in their village. They then catch sight of a little cute rabbit with a horn on its head, yet as Yunyun offers it food, that Lovely Rabbit leaps at the girl in an attempt to impale her with its horn. A large pack of Lovely Rabbits then charges out of the brush at them, numbering so many that Yunyun's Lightning cannot hold them back. Megumin accordingly casts Explosion towards the pack at close range, which on top of taking out the Lovely Rabbits also blow the two of them unconscious. Some time later, Megumin wakes up only to find Host looming over her.
Interlude[]
It so happened that when the Swordmaster returned to the Guild with his party, hoping to find new members, Yunyun seized the chance and approached him, only to be scared off by the Warrior girl and Thief girl who didn't want any more females in the party. A Priestess of the Axis Church then offered to hear Yunyun confess her troubles, so Yunyun went on and on about how she wanted party members to befriend, but only weirdo old men came speaking to her. The Priestess accordingly handed her an Axis conversion form, claiming that Lady Aqua will help her find somebody once she joins their faith, only to be scared off when the overjoyed Yunyun over-enthusiastically jumped at her words, following which the conversion form got thrown away by Megumin.

Differences to other versions[]
- The scene that Megumin witnesses at the banana stall in the light novel is simplified into a cover image and Kazuma's flashback of the event in the manga.
- The manga omits the first day Megumin casts Explosion outside the city walls, which in the light novel occurs one week after arriving at Axel, as well as her subsequent conversation with Yunyun about the Demon in the forest and Dust's fight with Mitsurugi, instead only adapting Chomusuke's toppling of Yunyun's house of cards and a quick skim of the fight into the events on the following day, while the topic of the Demon spooking the monsters is placed into the girls' discussion when they are inside the forest.
- There are multiple adventurers tearing away their recruitment advertisements in the light novel, one of whom is unfortunately apprehended by Megumin for inquiry.
- The part in the light novel where Megumin witnesses a weirdo trying to ensnare Yunyun into dating him among other weird requests is adapted into the interlude of a later chapter in the manga, while the aftermath of Megumin hearing about the conversion attempt by the Axis Priestess is mentioned in this chapter's interlude.
- The manga adapts into the interlude of a later chapter the part where the Crimson Magic girls, after getting kicked out of the Guild, accept a request to look for Lalatina though without avail.
- On the morning when the Crimson Magic girls go questing together in the light novel, Megumin skims a variety of quests on the bulletin board, before agreeing to start out with ones against weak monsters so Yunyun won't be scared off.
- When running into the Lovely Rabbit in the light novel, the girls after initially getting fooled by its cute appearance notice more of its kin feasting on the nearby corpse of an impaled wolf, subsequent to which Megumin's hat is impaled by that Lovely Rabbit, prompting her to strangle it before fleeing alongside Yunyun.
- The Crimson Magic girls in the light novel try to circumvent the area with Lovely Rabbits on their way out of the forest, only to have a whole pack of the monsters fleeing ahead of Host's presence charging at them.
- In the light novel, Cremea and Fio before chasing Yunyun off talk about seeking out and recruiting Lain Sheyka.
