Reality for This Art Enthusiast! (この芸術バカに現実を!, Kono Gējutsu Baka ni Genjitsu wo!) is the thirty-first chapter of the KonoSuba Comic Anthology manga series, and was illustrated by Spirytus Tarou.

Summary[]

In the living room of their mansion, Darkness and Megumin praise Kazuma for the wooden carving of a bear biting on a fish, which he had made as one of the sculpture products for his business deal with Vanir. Because of the two girls lauding him, Kazuma's creative activities are given momentum, resulting in his nose lengthening as he gets totally carried away.

Forced to listen at Kazuma bragging about the superbness of the bear carving, Darkness who understands herself as one of the causes can only awkwardly laugh along. As Kazuma blabs on, the Megumin beside her proceeds to whisper of how they will only have a repeat of the last time, but just as she plans to flee from the situation, Kazuma offers the carving to the girls as a gift. Megumin accordingly shakes Darkness for what to do, since her room is already cluttered with Kazuma's previous works and has hardly any space left for stepping.

Mistaking the girls to be arguing over who gets the bear, Kazuma offers them an unfinished carving of a creature looking like a multi-eyed pillbug so they will stop fighting. Darkness promptly stands up to flee, only to be pulled back by Megumin who doesn't want to take both carvings. As Darkness facepalms in helplessness, Megumin spirals into confusion when she tries to figure out what that creature next to the bear is supposed to be, before she starts chanting the incantations of Explosion. Although Darkness frantically tries stopping her, Kazuma incites Megumin even more when asking if she is captivated by his sculptures, which she is actually attempting to blow away in order to clear her mental turmoil.

At this moment, Aqua walks in complaining about their racket, and upon hearing Kazuma speak of the mad Megumin being captivated by his sculptures, asks to take a good look at them. But when shown the bear carving, she simply sneers at it being rubbish, shocking the others especially Kazuma, who weeps as reality hits him.
