Devil King's Blood (魔王の血) is a cursed gemstone with a pitch black colour and shining with evil powers.[1]
Overview[]
Having the ability to lower its owner's Luck and thus inviting catastrophe, the Devil King's Blood became an ideal item among nobles for gifting to rivals. Put on sale at a gemstone shop in Axel where Megumin observed it through the window for many days, the cursed gemstone was covertly ordered by Darkness, who became attracted to the wonderful catastrophes that it is capable of bringing.
However, Chris one day asked for the shop owner to let her dispose of the Devil King's Blood, before the cursed gemstone got swiped by the Thief after she was refused. Later becoming the target of Megumin who grabbed Chris for shoplifting until Kazuma stopped her, the "cool" gemstone was accordingly taken and kept by the Crimson Demon. It soon caused Megumin a series of misfortunes up till dusk when she got cornered by Darkness who was looking for the cursed gemstone, before Kazuma and Chris Stole it off the stubborn Arch Wizard.
