Gremlins (グレムリン) are small and weak Demons that dwell in dungeons.[1]
Appearance[]
Gremlins are portrayed differently depending on the media, though they all have the common traits of a small stature and large, pupiless eyes.
Those in the manga look humanoid and hairless, have elongated ears and webbed wings on their backs, and can be seen dressed in simple clothing as well as wielding weapons.
Those in the anime look like furry, feral ferrets that sport large ears, a jawful of sharp teeth, as well as sharp claws on their limbs.

Gremlins rank low on the hierarchy of demons, and generally appear in places like dungeons where magic is thick. While they commonly attack intruders on instinct like feral beasts, in some cases they will be led by leaders or elders.
Variations[]
- Gremlin Leader (グレムリンリーダー): Stronger Gremlins that serve as the leader of a pack in the dungeon.[2]
- Gremlin Sleep (グレムリンスリープ): Special Gremlins gathering upon the Island in the Sky that can put their prey to sleep.[2]
- Elder Gremlin (エルダーグレムリン): Large Gremlins that sport three eyes.[3]
