Heidel (ハイデル) is a butler serving the royal family of Belzerg.[1]
Appearance[]
Heidel is an elderly man sporting grey hair and beard who dresses in a butler suit.
Personality[]
Heidel holds himself in a gentle and courteous manner as befitting a butler serving a royal family, and carries out his duty professionally even if the individual he attends to is clearly infuriating, to the point he can pinpoint the whole scope of what the request asked of him entails before it is fully articulated.
History[]
After Kazuma got abducted to the Royal Castle by Iris, Heidel was assigned to be his exclusive butler. During the following week, he dutifully indulged Kazuma's various requests that further encouraged the Adventurer to laze around at the castle.[2]
Heidel again attended to Kazuma when he stayed at the castle for the second time subsequent to his return from Elroad, and in addition to aiding with basic living necessities, also helped Kazuma keep track of his schedule.[3]
Trivia[]
- During Kazuma's first stay at the Royal Castle, Heidel was repeatedly referred to as "Sebastian" by him,[1] which is possibly a satire on how butlers are equated with that name in mainstream Japanese culture due to the influence of Heidi, Girl of the Alps.
