Jarippa (じゃりっぱ) is a pet baby Red Dragon.[1]
Apperance[]
Jarippa looks like a small baby Dragon covered in red scales, except for the part from the jawline down its neck where the scales are white. It has two small wings on its back, and sports a pair of ears on the top of its head instead of horns.
History[]
The pet of some rich traveler, the baby Red Dragon was reserved a seat by its master in the carriage Kazuma and his companions took on their way to Arcanletia.[1] It was later named "Jarippa" by Megumin as gratitude from its master at the party's efforts in saving the caravan from monster attacks during the trip, before it continued on its way after they disembarked at their destination.[2]
Trivia[]
- The name is a pun on the term "ジャリッパゲ" (jarippage), which is a Japanese slang for scarring hair loss.
