When Kazuma's party returns from Arcanletia to their mansion where Kazuma plans to shut himself into instead of going on quests, they find waiting inside is a tattered Vanir, who in a bout of blatant marketing tells them about the Consulting With This Masked Devil! spinoff story which stars him getting a comicalisation. As Kazuma comments in shock, Vanir goes on to elucidate how the same artist who worked on the Everyday Life in This Wonderful World! side series of KonoSuba will be doing the illustrating, and that she was overjoyed to draw a lot of him, all the while having an outraged Aqua seethe at the sidelines.
