Kazuma's Mansion is a mansion located in Axel where Kazuma and his party live.

Overview

A small mansion in the suburbs, with just a few rooms, but still bigger than a japanese house. After its former owner, an noble, died, his illegitimate daughter, Anna, lived there until she contracted the same disease as her father and died too. The ghost of his daughter started to haunt the mansion ever since, while its current owner lives outside Axel.

History

When its owner decided to sell the mansion, a ghost infestation hit it, caused by the barrier Aqua put in a nearby graveyard, resulting in numerous spirits who lived there to move into the mansion and the surrounding houses. In exchange of purifying the mansion and ending the rumors about ghosts haunting the neighborhood, Kazuma's party were allowed by its owner to stay in the mansion during the winter.

The mansion had received various enhancements and renovations ever since the party took residence there, ranging from the arcane like a powerful magic barrier set around it by Aqua that is capable of repelling Undeads and Demons, to the mundane like a "dragon house" in the yard for Emperor Zel, as well as a vegetable patch. After becoming rich, Kazuma bought the mansion and became its legal owner, allowing him to take legal action against Aqua when she barred his entry in the mansion.

During the attack on Axel by the Devil King's Army, the mansion also became a target of the monsters, and only thanks to the resistance put up by Anna, Chomusuke, Emperor Zel, as well as the vegetables in the garden, it was spared from destruction by the time Dust dispatched the attackers.

Trivia

• The house has a kitchen where the party take turns cooking. Darkness cooks stylish cuisine, Megumin cooks homemade meals like meat and potatoes, and Aqua makes easy dishes.
• Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness each have their own room. However, there are still a lot of unused rooms.
  • Darkness lives at her father's house whenever he needs help with family affairs.
• Yunyun is afraid to visit them, even though they keep inviting her over. However, when they take a vacation in Arcanletia, Yunyun shows up at the front gate to challenge Megumin every day that they're gone, bringing more and more food to share with them despite getting no answer.
  • She eventually stays over in the mansion during the incident with the cursed ring.
• The mansion is still haunted by the ghost of the daughter of its former owner, those gravestone is in the mansion kindergarten.
• The front doors are usually left unlocked whenever somebody is home.
