A Final Flame for this Ridiculous Fortress? (この理不尽な要塞に終焔を？, Kono Rifujin na Yōsai ni Shūen wo?) is the nineteenth chapter of the KonoSuba manga series, and covers Chapter 5 in Volume 2 of the light novels.
Summary[]
As the receptionist lady warns residents to evacuate the town while pledging for adventurers to assemble at the Guild, Aqua also packs up in preparation to flee, though Megumin thinks it is futile to run from the rampaging Mobile Fortress Destroyer that will destroy everything in its path while being protected by a anti-magic barrier. Kazuma however is determined to save his newly acquired home as well as the Succubus Cafe, after which the party follows a Darkness in full gear to the Guild.
Meeting up with Dust and his party there, Kazuma's party listens to the receptionist lady brief the gathered adventurers about the ancient weapon created to fight the Demon King by the Kingdom of Noise that is equipped with anti-magic barriers, magical armour shell, magic ballistae, and a Golem army, making it unstoppable as it tramples everything in its path ever since its designer occupied and set it on a rampage akin to natural disasters which first destroyed Noise. After the ideas by Dust, Rin, and other adventurers for fighting the Destroyer all turn out to have failed in the past, at Taylor's prompting Kazuma recalls that Aqua has the power to break magic barriers. They soon come up the strategy of Aqua breaking the Destroyer's anti-magic barrier so Megumin and Wiz who is a popular certified adventurer can immobilise it with their combined firepower, while other adventurers stand by to board the fortress.
When Darkness later stands guard outside the town walls as construction workers assemble barricades, she promises Kazuma to tell her the real reason she needs to protect the town. The Destroyer then comes in sight, so Aqua breaks the charging fortress' anti-magic barrier with a powerful Sacred Dispel, followed by Megumin and Wiz blasting the Destroyer's legs with twin Explosions, making it grind to a halt.

- Mitsurugi also joins the meeting at the Guild in the light novel.
- The adventurers coming up with failed ideas against the Destroyer in the light novel are all nameless and faceless ones.
- In the light novel, Wiz arrives at the Guild still wearing an apron.
- After Kazuma fails to persuade Darkness into standing further back, he in the light novel returns to where Megumin is stationed, then upon the Destroyer's appearance witnesses some Creators among the adventurers creating Earth Golems in an attempt to stop the approaching mobile fortress, before inciting the jittery Megumin into casting her Explosion.
