A Final Flame for this Ridiculous Fortress!? (この理不尽な要塞に終焔を⁉, Kono Rifujin na Yōsai ni Shūen wo!?) is the twentieth chapter of the KonoSuba manga series, and covers Chapter 5 in Volume 2 of the light novels.
Summary[]
After the skidding Destroyer which adventurers scramble out of the way from grinds to a halt right in front of Darkness, Megumin as she collapses finds her Explosion weaker than the one cast by Wiz. But when Dust and other adventurers cheer their seeming success, Aqua utters a flag line to Kazuma's horror, at which the Destroyer broadcasts a warning about excess heat stockpiling, signaling its imminent self-detonation that can destroy the town as well.
With Darkness refusing to flee, Kazuma and the other adventurers all agree to storm the Destroyer to find its designer, though many of the men do so with the intention of saving the Succubus Cafe. Ordering Darkness to take care of the limp Megumin, Kazuma takes Aqua and Wiz to follow the other adventurers climbing onto the fortress. There they find them in the midst of battle against the Destroyer's army of Golems, and when a Golem attacks the trio, Kazuma Steals its head, only to get his hand crushed under its weight and requiring Aqua's healing powers. The enthusiastic adventurers soon defeat all of the Golems, before breaking into the control room where the designer sits.

Differences to other versions[]
- Aqua attempting to use Wiz as a meat shield against the Golem attacking them is a manga-only feature.
Trivia[]
- The artist ended the chapter where it did in order to buy time for familiarising himself with the Head Researcher's character design in the anime episode that just came out during the month.
