May Friendship Come to This Crimson Magic Girl (1) (この紅魔の娘に友人を！①, Kono Kōma no Musume ni Yūjin wo! 1) is the twenty-fifth chapter of the Konosuba manga series, and covers Chapter 2 in Volume 3 of the light novels.
Kazuma pulls out of the Giant Toad's mouth a slimy Megumin, who pretends not to recognise her self-proclaimed rival since their school days at their village despite the latter having just saved her. After Aqua and Sena take their leave, Megumin continues to play dumb, until Yunyun makes an embarrassing Crimson Magic Clan style introduction.
At Yunyun's insistence to compete with her, Megumin agrees to a combat contest, with a piece of premium Manatite belonging to Yunyun being the wager. Yunyun however admits defeat because Megumin is covered in slime, though Megumin still hugs Yunyun to get her all slimy.
Handing over the Manatite she won on their way back for Kazuma to pay his debts, Megumin gets mad at him thinking Yunyun is prettier, thus gives him a slimy hug too. Back at the mansion, Kazuma and Megumin both vie to be the first to bathe, and end up going into the bathtub together. While they squabble over Megumin's body development and common sense compared to Yunyun, Aqua returns from selling toad meat to the Guild, so Kazuma expends all his magical power to Freeze the bathroom door before she witnesses the scene. This however earns him a beating from Megumin because he indicated her as a loli girl, and Aqua later brands him a "loli-NEET" all the same.
The following day, Kazuma strolls around the town, when he spots Yunyun shyly standing in front of a food stand, and accordingly goes to greet her.
