Summary[]
Darkness enjoys being continously struck while not landing any hits on Balter, making him concede defeat as he begins to admire her, at which Darkness tells Kazuma to show Balter how he fights.
Kazuma proceeds to Create Water, and once Darkness' soaked clothes stick onto her casts Freeze. Darkness however keeps coming at Kazuma while pointing out how the young nobleman, being handsome and gentlemanly, isn't the perverted and useless type that she prefers. Next grappling with Kazuma as he desperately Drain Touches in return, Darkness allows herself to be drained until falling unconscious when Kazuma promises to perform unspeakable things to her if he wins. Ignis then walks in to see her unconscious and wet on the floor, and so orders Kazuma and Balter put to death.
After hearing of what actually happened, Ignis explains how the lonely Darkness had daily prayed to Eris for an adventurer friend until Chris befriended her, before he and Balter ask Kazuma to take care of her. But when Darkness comes to, she fibs about being pregnant with Kazuma's child, so Balter decides to give up, while Kazuma frantically tries to tell an overjoyed Ignis and a shocked Aqua the truth.
Subsequent to Balter returning to say that he had refused the marriage, Kazuma takes Darkness and Aqua back to their mansion, where a Megumin trying to comfort a weeping Yunyun frantically tells them about Sena coming to arrest Kazuma.
