May This Mask Knight Submit! (2) (この仮面の騎士に隷属を！②, Kono Kamen no Kishi ni Rēzoku wo! 2) is the thirtieth chapter of the Konosuba manga series, and covers Chapter 4 to the Epilogue in Volume 3 of the light novels.
Summary[]
Vanir is initially elated at possessing Darkness' body, though to both his and Kazuma's surprise, Darkness feels only enjoyment at the situation and the pain from resistance as she keeps interrupting Vanir's dialogue. Kazuma takes the opportunity to wipe away the magic circle, then as Vanir wants to leave Darkness' body, slaps the sealing sticker onto his mask so he can bring Darkness outside where Aqua will purify Vanir. But as they run towards the exit, Vanir successfully claims control over Darkness' body and prepares to cut Aqua down in a surprise attack, only to be hit by her Sacred Exorcism upon exiting.
Kazuma informs his companions as well as a Sena accompanied by other adventurers about Vanir possessing Darkness, yet after exchanging insults with Aqua, Vanir fully utilises Darkness' prowress to dodge Aqua's Sacred Highness Exorcism as well as defeat the other adventurers closing in on him before advancing to slay Aqua. At this moment Kazuma insults Darkness, giving her enough motivation to rip off the sealing sticker, yet she is unable to take off the mask for Aqua's magic to fully purify Vanir. Darkness thus instructs Megumin to blow her up with Explosion, giving Vanir the choice of either being destroyed alongside her or purified when he leaves her body. After some parting words with each other, Vanir chooses to be blown up with Darkness, following which everybody witnesses her swallowed by Megumin's Explosion.
Later on at the Guild, Sena who is convinced Kazuma is not working for the Demon King withdraws the charges of sedition, as well as grant him the rich rewards for defeating the Destroyer and Vanir, overjoying Kazuma who not only clears his debt but now possesses tens of millions in wealth. Darkness who miraculously survived to get healed is also rewarded a new set of armour, though her real name Lalatina spreads around town to her utmost embarrassment. Kazuma and Darkness afterwards visit Wiz's Shop to tell her of Vanir's demise, only to discover him reincarnated into a second life, which instead of the Demon King now works for the Lich.

Differences to other versions[]
- In the light novel, the other adventurers having retreated from the onslaught of Vanir Dolls inside Khiel's Dungeon, start insulting Darkness after Vanir controls her body to defeat them.
- When Aqua is forced into a corner by Vanir, Kazuma in the light novel steps out and tricks the All-Seeing Devil that he is going to Steal the sticker off his mask so the Duke of Hell will try to counter the wrong skill, before burning the sticker away with Tinder.
- Darkness although gravely wounded by Megumin's Explosion, is already fully healed by the time the party gets rewarded in the light novel.
- The prophecy by Vanir about Kazuma and Darkness facing an impassible ordeal in the upcoming future and his offer to assist them are omitted in the manga.
