Summary[]

Although Aqua, Darkness, and Megumin frantically approach the injured little girl, Kazuma whose Sense Foe reacts stops them, citing that it is actually a mimicking monster known as the Leisure Girl, which the guide map advises to eliminate on sight.

The girls despite Kazuma stopping them are still attracted by the Leisure Girl into approaching, though they discover that the injuries and bandages on it are nothing but purposely grown coloured patterns. As Kazuma explicates about the addictive fruits growing behind the Leisure Girl that are used for drugging victims, the compansionate girls grow attached to it and decide to make camp on top of eating the fruits. An exasperated Kazuma proceeds to hack at the Leisure Girl, only to have his party members hold him back. They then hear the Leisure Girl speaking in a shaky tone to lament its existence as a monster, which makes even Kazuma pity it.

The party later leaves the Leisure Girl alone and continues on their way, yet upon remembering that the lonely Yunyun who will be traveling the trail behind them may fall prey to it, Kazuma heads back alone, hoping to persuade the Leisure Girl into sparing her. After approaching the Leisure Girl with Ambush, however, Kazuma witnessess it saying the same things to a woodcutter trying to cut it down and making him run off in tears, before it grumbles in an indignant tone about nobody being ensnared that day. The infuriated Kazuma, once he is noticed by it, mercilessly cuts down the deceitful Leisure Girl, and subsequently catches up with his companions to proudly show them his increase in levels, only to be beaten up by an upset Aqua.

That night after they make camp and Kazuma takes the first watch, Megumin who comes up to accompany him apologises about what transpired during the day, before expressing how it'll be wonderful if there is a girl who can comprehend his kindness. She then asks about Kazuma's homeland, at which he makes a misleading account of his martial exploits as a well-respected expert online gamer to impress her. Megumin then huddles up to Kazuma as she wishes for their days together to go on, making Kazuma who recalls how his childhood girlfriend went for a delinquent upperclassman late in middle school and sent him on the path of the NEET feel jittery, though Megumin falls asleep before he can make a reply.

Continuing their trek the following day, the party finds themselves entering a wide stretch of clearing without cover from monsters, so Kazuma volunteers to scout ahead, where he can use Second Sight to discover monsters beforehand and warn the girls to take detours. After successfully avoiding a Griffin, a One-Punch Bear, and a Fire Drake, he discovers an Orc standing all alone. Ignoring the warnings given by his companions for him to flee from the Orc, which Kazuma thinks are weak monsters that molest women for mating, he marches up to challenge it, yet discovers to his horror that the Orc is a female with the hots for him.
