Aqua takes the complaining Kazuma as well as Megumin and Darkness into the bamboo grove one early morning, so they can harvest a rainbow-coloured golden bamboo worth millions of eris and can grant high experience points when eaten.
However, as Kazuma walks out to search for it, the bamboo shoots that don't want to be eaten stab out from the ground, nearly hitting Kazuma in the face as well as lift Megumin and Darkness' skirts.
