Summary[]
Dust trudges up to the two men preparing to set out, and knocks them unconscious before they have an idea what is happening, then subsequent to tying them up kicks the ringleader awake as he relieves them of what meagre wealth they are carrying. He proceeds to ask about their plot against his party, during which instead of violence, the delinquent adventurer makes the ringleader talk by threatening to have him play with the naked subordinate.
It turns out that only the subordinate, who is still unconscious and left tied to the ringleader, knows where their kidnapping ring will be rendezvousing, so Dust frantically heads to the Guild and asks Luna about the quest Rin and the others had taken. Although Luna refuses to divulge because of Rin's request, once Dust explains about the criminal organisation that the nearby Sena also shows interest in, the receptionist leads them as well as the Loli Succubus who had followed Dust into the back room. Upon hearing how the men who tried to kidnap Darkness are now planning to mug Dust's party and abduct Rin, Luna reveals that they had gone hunting Goblins in the vicinity of Khiel's Dungeon where adventurers usually camp out for the night, thus Sena and Dust deduce the men's scheme of attacking late at night when their accomplice is on watch. Yet the men number over a dozen, while other adventurers are already out on spring questing and the grounds for police to mobilise are still too weak.
The Loli Succubus accordingly petitions the Helmet Guy hanging out nearby to go on the rescue mission alongside Dust, who finds the notion of the nobleman knowing how to wield a spear familiar. But as the two men mount the horses provided by the elated Helmet Guy, the Loli Succubus is shocked to find herself dragged into the mission by Dust.

Differences to other versions[]
- Prior to Dust walking up on them in the light novel, the two kidnappers discuss philosophy over loli girls.
- The subordinate in the light novel is rendered unconscious when Dust kicks him in the crotch.
- In the light novel, Dust only ties up the ringleader while stripping the fainted subordinate for valuables, before removing the men's shoes and smashing a bottle over the alleyway to prevent escape.
- The Loli Succubus at the Succubus Cafe receives a visit from Dust soon after his interrogation of the ringleader in the light novel, and is asked to call the police on the bound men without being told the location, prompting her to chase Dust all the way to the Guild.
- The manga skips the point about Dust obtaining some magic items from Wiz's Shop before rendezvousing with the Loli Succubus and the Helmet Guy.
