Summary[]

In front of the general store, Yunyun reports that Darkness appears to like armaments and hate being called "Lalatina", while a hungry Dust gnaws on some side items he had grabbed from the irate owner's bento. Subsequently guarding his bento from Dust's further snatching attempts, the owner next warns Yunyun to stay away from Dust, and upon hearing Yunyun call the delinquent a friend, comprehends it as him having done something horrible to her. The piqued Dust thus attempts to beat the owner up, only to be dragged away by a fuming Yunyun.

Yunyun proceeds to berate Dust for causing trouble as well as forgetting to ask Kazuma about Darkness because he was too busy coaxing his rich friend into treating him, when they are joined by Vanir who had just finished zapping Wiz with his Death Ray. Soon finding herself led into a back alley, Yunyun fears that Dust intends on doing something to her, though at Dust's rebuttal about her being an unappealing kid, she insists how she is much more developed than Megumin. Asked by Dust to say something, Vanir reveals that Megumin who had far surpassed Yunyun in romance will soon reach a good stage, though as the humans are shocked at her and Kazuma beating them at it, the Duke of Hell assures them of Kazuma chickening out at the last moment, following which Dust discovers about Yunyun simply worried with Megumin finally kissing.

They next hear a young woman yelling at somebody attempting something on her, so Dust takes the lead to head for the rescue as well as claim any rewards. Observing behind some crates upon nearing, they find Darkness being cornered by a group of masked men who knows her identity as a noble. Darkness accordingly fantasizes about having her clothes cut to ribbons and photographed to show her father in addition to being forced to parade near naked through Axel, but as the observers watch her in the throes of ecstasy, the masked men instead pull away as they question her nobility and express no interest in her stripping.

Thinking it the right time to intervene even though he honestly wants to leave, Dust knocks out two of the men with his sheathed sword in a surprise attack. The leader of the men proceeds to attack with a spear which Dust deftly deflects, yet some of the men's reinforcements including an archer then arrive. The surrounded and outnumbered Dust starts to regret sticking out for justice as Yunyun watches in anticipation without intent to intervene, so following Darkness telling him to flee just for the gist of it, Dust identifies himself as Kazuma who defeated some Demon King's Generals and destroyed the Destroyer, only to have the men cite Darkness' exclamation upon his appearance to call out his lie. At that moment, they hear Yunyun leading policemen to the scene, scaring the men into retreat.

While Dust is exhausted from doing what he isn't used to, he is thanked by Darkness, before Yunyun shows them the policemen she had called are actually Vanir and his shells. Yunyun then asks Darkness to date Dust who she thinks likes her, to which Darkness declines because of concern over her party. They then start giving advice to Dust for being popular with girls, so the piqued Dust calls Darkness a muscled macho woman he isn't fond of in addition to describing Yunyun as having no friends to talk about romance with. Having what they mind the most pointed out as Vanir tastes delicious negative emotions, the two infuriated girls promptly attack Dust who has to run for his life.
