If I Mistook You for a Dream (夢で違えたら, Yume de Chigaetara) is the seventeenth chapter of the Megumin Anthology manga series, and was illustrated by Stu-Hiro.
Summary[]
Kazuma creeps out of the alleyway in which the Succubus Cafe is situated, then sure that nobody saw him exiting, excitedly anticipates having a veteran Succubus who won't get herself caught in the magic barrier like the last time come serve him. He then finds in his pocket a blank dream request form which he took by mistake, but brings it home anyways since it won't hurt.
Back at the mansion, Megumin who missed Kazuma's entry finds on the corridor floor the blank request form, which she had heard rumours of regarding its ability to let people experience the dreams they want. In fact, this request form had become known among the girls and women as an occult item that, once filled out and put under the pillow before sleeping, can allow the requested situation to appear in dreams. The curious Megumin proceeds to fill out the form with a request about an excellent man pampering her in an exciting romance, but when drawing up a specific image of the man, the first one occurring to her is a handsome Kazuma, which she quickly slaps away, before writing down the specifics of her ideal man.
Later realising how late it is, Megumin undresses for a bath, yet upon entering the bathroom with only a towel, she is shocked to see Kazuma waiting in the bathtub. Having requested for somebody younger than before, Kazuma who remembers what happened the last time first confirms with Megumin if this is a dream. Due to thinking that she is already dreaming, Megumin answers in affirmation, so the both of them simultaneously ask the other to wash their back.
Surprised at him being the one requested to do the washing, Kazuma thinking that it was because he wasn't specific enough when requesting servitude play stands up out of the water, making Megumin turn away from his uncovered front in embarrassment. Pondering about the realism of this dream, Kazuma goes on to wash Megumin's back, making her comfortable with a sense of superiority unattainable in real life. He next reaches to wash Megumin's front, making her frantically recoil and call him "Eroma", until he reminds her about this all being a dream where the servitude needs to be performed in full. Convinced that there is no need to be embarrassed in a dream, Megumin turns to face him full on.
Kazuma however has his attention drawn on the Succubus sticking her upper body through the bathroom window behind Megumin, where she says the magical barrier is the weakest. The shocked Kazuma proceeds to leave while telling Megumin to wake up, and as Megumin chases after him in confusion, she slips and falls into unconsciousness. When Megumin comes to, she finds herself carried by Kazuma in a "princess carry", which she sees as the ultimate form of servitude anticipated by girls.
While Megumin is overjoyed at being served by a tender Kazuma, Kazuma who realises that Megumin is mistaking all of this to be a dream can only continue with the charade, which consists of him pampering her for the rest of the night, all for the sake of his personal safety.
