Tiny Megumin's Ordinary Day (小さなめぐみんの何でもない一日, Chiisana Megumin no Nandemonai Ichinichi) is the sixth chapter of the Megumin Anthology manga series, and was illustrated by Tanimura Marika.
Summary[]
A Megumin shrunken by the magic cast upon her by a quest target that only she and Kazuma went to hunt for, asks for him to walk softer as she rides on his shoulder, until they return to their mansion which is presently devoid of Aqua and Darkness, because they are respectively performing water tricks at another town and back at her family home.
With Megumin who is dressed in doll clothing finding being small to be quite inconvenient in terms of dining and toilet, Kazuma tells her that it'll help once she gets used to it, since it cuts down on the food costs and makes her look like a cute little figurine. Megumin though doesn't like what he is imagining about, before expressing her concern over her Explosion being reduced to the level of a mere spark. And despite Kazuma assuring her of Aqua returning her to normal once she comes back in 3 days, Megumin voices her need to Explode something big and hard everyday, thus he presents her with a lamp so that she can feel like a great wizard whenever she lights it up. Overjoyed at his present before he calls for them going to sleep, the jittery Megumin asks to sleep in a futon of handkerchiefs atop Kazuma's bedside table.
Unable to sleep because she is sharing a room with Kazuma, Megumin who feels cold plans to light the lamp up to serve as a heater. However, the wick fizzles out soon after she lights it with her Explosion because Kazuma didn't put oil into the lamp. Disappointed and chilly, Megumin crawls towards Kazuma for help, but ends up falling onto his face as he continues sleeping. Thinking how she could have kissed him before changing it to being eaten, she wonders how warm his mouth is compared to that of a Giant Toad.
After shaking those thoughts from her head, Megumin tries waking Kazuma, only to be shaken off onto the pillow beside him. Finding herself as elated as when she casts Explosions, the Megumin who is now sleeping beside Kazuma considers enjoying being small. She eventually turns back to normal thanks to Aqua's Sacred Dispel, though when the party feasts on the crab brought by Darkness, both Kazuma and Megumin feel a little embarrassed at their return to normal life.
