Sea Dragon King Melvillei (海龍王メルビレイ), commonly known as just Melvillei (メルビレイ), is a baby Leviathan adopted by Aqua.[1]
Appearance[]
Melvillei was similar to a eel or a sea serpent. However, after growing up, it became bigger and got paws.
Personality[]
Although he is docile, Melvillei is intelligent and attacks in self-defense those that have bad intentions against him. Also, as a dragon-type monster, he enjoys alcohol.
History[]
After a summer rain, Aqua found and adopted Melvillei, planing to raise him until he becomes a grown-up dragon and attack the Devil King. Kazuma, meanwhile, believing he was just an eel and later a sea serpent, tried to cook and get rid of him, but he was easily defeated by Melvillei's Water Breath.
However, after Melvillei grew up too much and too fast, Kazuma's party realized he was actually a dragon-type monster close to the spirits known as "Leviathan". They brought him to a river so he could return to nature, but after realizing Melvillei is actually more useful than his full party together, Kazuma tried to convince him to stay, being frustrated by Aqua.
Abilities[]
As a dragon-type monster, Melvillei is extremely powerful and useful in fights, although he didn't grow up fully yet. After growing up, he would be able to learn water magic too.
- Physical Resistance: Melvillei's scales are tougher than Darkness.
- Breath (Water): The skill to breathe out an elemental power. As a Leviathan, Melvillei breaths water.
- Healing Magic: Melvillei learned healing magic by watching Aqua.
- Heal: Instantly heals a person's wounds.

- Melvillei's name comes from Livyatan Melvillei.
