The Muncher-Muncher (パックンパックン) was a giant carnivorous plant found growing in the Neighbourhood Ruins.[1]
Appearance[]
The Muncher-Muncher looks like a giant rose possessing a fanged maw as well as multiple tentacle-like thorned vines.
History[]
Originally a modestly-sized plant, the Muncher-Muncher grew to gigantic proportions after the magical stone buried near it got activated by Aqua's presence and began emitting huge amounts of magic. It attacked Kazuma and his party when they ventured deep into the ruins during their search for the magical stone, but was in the end burned away.
Variations[]
- Muncher Wonderful (パックンワンダフル): A powered-up version that is spawned in the secret super tribulation room of the Island in the Sky.[2]
Abilities[]
- Whip Hurricane (ウィップハリケーン): Wildly whips its thorny tentacles around to hit everything in its vicinity.
Trivia[]
- Its name was based off the Munchers from the Super Mario series.
- Its appearance was based off Biollante from the Godzilla series.
