Early Life

Not much had been revealed of the Newbie Succubus' early life prior to her becoming an employee of the Succubus Cafe at Axel, though as a young Succubus merely several millennia old, she like other Demons her age dwelling in Vanir's fiefdom in Hell harboured a fanatical infatuation with the Duke of Hell.

Deep Winter Arc

As her first assignment after employment at the Cafe, the Newbie Succubus was tasked with giving a lewd dream to Kazuma. Yet while infiltrating his mansion, she found herself trapped in an exceptionally powerful holy magic barrier laid down by Aqua, who murderously approached alongside Megumin to purify her. After a half-naked Kazuma rushed to the scene followed by an enraged Darkness, the Newbie Succubus telepathically asked for him to let her be purified in order to preserve his reputation. Kazuma though insisted on stopping his party members, giving her the chance to flee. Her humiliating failure, however, soon became known amongst the patrons of the Cafe, causing her performance ratings to sharply drop.

Late Winter Arc

When Dust, who the Newbie Succubus didn't think highly of despite him being a repeat patron of the Cafe, came asking for her help in duping Mitsurugi to eliminate the Orcs that the delinquent adventurer had taken a quest against, she despite being reluctant ended up accepting once he promised to assist with promoting her popularity amongst the Cafe patrons. Dressing up as a village girl the following day, she and Dust waited in the mountains for Mitsurugi to be lured there courtesy of the rumours spread by the delinquent, during which she deadpanned Dust's attempt to placate her by fondling her head. Upon Mitsurugi approaching, the Newbie Succubus stumbled out before tearfully begging the Swordmaster to eliminate the Orcs, and managed to persuade him into agreeing by citing Aqua also being in danger.

Subsequent to the Orcs' annihilation, she sneakily flew to the monsters' settlement and told Mitsurugi that Aqua had already left the area, though after the Swordmaster's departure, Dust coming up to rummage through the Orcs' corpses puzzled her. Next terrified by Mitsurugi who had turned back to their location and demanded answers from the pair who set him up, the Newbie Succubus as she made up lame excuses became shocked when Dust pretended to be under her Charm spell and pulled out her tail to uncover her identity as a Succubus. In retaliation, she revealed the secret Dust had once drunkenly blurted out about him swindling money from Mitsurugi through selling back his cursed sword at an exorbitant price. This however enraged the Swordmaster to the point he unsheathed the said sword, though Dust whom the Newbie Succubus described to be a demon quickly distracted him by lifting her skirt before carrying her in escape.

She next followed Dust to the village where the residents had initially requested the quest, and witnessed his disappointment at discovering that the "beauty hot springs" they had invited him to was only used by old hags. Sweeping the storefront of the Cafe upon returning to Axel, the Newbie Succubus once again deadpanned at Dust when he muttered about Mitsurugi claiming the quest rewards ahead of him, but still agreed to assist with his payback against the Swordmaster once she got praised. Following Dust to Mitsurugi's inn that night, she sneaked into his room preparing to give him a nightmare about Aqua seducing him only to transform into an Orc at the last minute. Yet on top of Mitsurugi turning out to be in a drunken sleep and unable to dream, she got discovered by Cremea and Fio when they came for a night raid on their party leader, and so alongside Dust got chased by the pair for the remainder of the night. Managing to escape when daylight broke, the Newbie Succubus mistook Dust to have kidnapped a child when a little girl clung on to him, though she was next impressed when Dust, just as the villager girl had requested earlier, handed over her birthday present from her father that he had retrieved from the Orcs' corpses.

The Newbie Succubus was also forced to rest when the Succubus Cafe had to close for a few days because there was word of a police raid organised by the Association for Protecting Women's Chances of Marriage headed by Sena, so when receiving lessons from Dust on tips to improve the eroticness of dreams in front of the general store regularly pestered by the delinquent, much to its owner's displeasure, she talked about the upcoming raid tomorrow on the Cafe. Upon her offering a week of free services if they manage to survive the raid, the Newbie Succubus was given the idea of the Cafe posing as a fortune telling service specialising in giving male adventurer consultations, while Dust and another regular patron would act as customers during the raid. The Newbie Succubus therefore selected from the patrons a nobleman who was in love with Dust to act as the other customer, and later explained to Dust how the guy who covered his face with a helmet had a magical jamming item that would be crucial in case Sena brings her magical lie-detecting bell.

Dressed as a common waitress on the day of the raid, the Newbie Succubus acted cooperatively when the policewomen burst in. As Dust began convincing Sena how the other male adventurers in Axel weren't attracted to women because they were mostly gay, she suggested the helmet guy be interrogated too once the lie-detecting bell was brought out. The scummy attitude expressed by Dust when Sena was convinced of the Cafe's innocence, however, both impressed and disgusted her. She later chased after him to discuss follow-up procedures, and finding Dust in front of a bakery, offered to buy him bread while the Rin he was talking to stormed off.

When Sena and Darkness came working at the Cafe dressed in Succubus attire on the next day, it fell to the Newbie Succubus for guiding them, though she became piqued when Dust consulted Sena for ideas on how flat-chested girls like her can get bigger breasts. Like Dust and the other Succubi, the Newbie Succubus was also forced to confess once Sena realised the truth about the Cafe, and became relieved when a compromise was reached, though she could do nothing about Dust missing out on the week of free services because he accordingly got jailed for two weeks.

Early Spring Arc

The Newbie Succubus went calling for Dust as he approached the Cafe following his release, and informed him of all the Succubi offering him free food and services that night to make up for them unable to visit him during his incarceration. Yet moments later, a frantic Dust ran back asking her to call the police on two men who he had beaten and tied up in an alleyway because they were involved in an earlier attempted kidnapping of Darkness. Chasing after him to the Guild because she didn't know which alleyway he was talking about, the Newbie Succubus alongside Sena and Luna listened to Dust explain how he had discovered that a temporary member, who his party members had teamed up with during his incarceration, was actually an accomplice of a criminal organization whose ringleader was one of the men he had left in the alleyway, and were plotting to mug his party as well as kidnap Rin for some noble while they were out questing.

With Dust planning to chase after his party, who according to Luna had set off on an overnight quest against Goblins near Keele's Dungeon, all by himself since other adventurers and the police were unavailable to help, after accompanying him to Wiz's Shop where she consulted with Vanir, the Newbie Succubus sought the assistance of the helmet guy who had been observing Dust from a distance. Subsequently rendezvousing at the city gate where the helmet guy provided a pair of horses, the Newbie Succubus was surprised when Dust dragged her onto his horse, and during the duration of the trip attracted the jealous glare of the helmet guy. The trio soon found themselves outnumbered by a group of the criminals whom they ran into on the road, so the Newbie Succubus joined in an act where Dust pretended to be a new member who offered up her up as a token. Soon becoming vexed by the way those lolicon criminals pampered her, the Newbie Succubus was saved when the helmet guy and Dust launched a surprise attack that allowed the three of them to make off. Soon after Dust laid a trap by drenching the hillside atop which they escaped to before taunting the pursuing criminals into slogging up the wet mud, the Newbie Succubus flew at them from above and electrocuted the whole group unconscious with an orb that shoots Lightning magic downwards. When the trio eventually found Dust's party while the accomplice was asleep, she helped convince Taylor, Keith, and Rin about the veracity of Dust's revelation, then under Dust's instructions gave the criminal a nightmare, in which he began molesting a sleeping Rin only for her to turn into one of several Orcs ganging up on him. Going to sleep with the others sans Dust soon afterwards, the Newbie Succubus accompanied the party back to Axel on the following day.

On the evening subsequent to the city's adventurers successfully completing their quest against the Great Spirit of Storms, she like other Succubi enjoyed a sudden tide of business from the male adventurers who waited in a line extending two hours long.

Early Summer Arc

While walking through town, the Newbie Succubus noticed Dusk and Rin setting up desk in front of the general store, and after having her accidental reference to the Succubus Cafe covered by an excuse from Dust, she was asked by Rin, who thought her to be a rookie Wizard, to temporarily fill in for the unwell Keith and Taylor on a quest two days later. Worried about trouble brewing if she goes questing with them, the invitation was thankfully converted to putting her in the reserves because of Dust's efforts, though since they ended up unable to recruit enough members, on the morning of the bodyguard quest she was petitioned to join up under the alias "Lolisa" with him and Rin in addition to Yunyun.

During the carriage ride alongside the villager who posted the quest back to his village, the Newbie Succubus became impressed with Yunyun vanquishing all attacking monsters by herself, though Dust heaping praise onto the Crimson Demon made her jealous. She thus decided to help take out some attacking Goblins that Dust convinced Yunyun to let them deal with, and demonstrated her usefulness in a fight through spells that incapacitate. The Newbie Succubus later on secretly discussed with the other girls about how Dust's sexual desires unexpectedly fluctuate as well as the possibility of him being bisexual, all the while keeping quiet about what she knew of the Succubi's dreams venting his desires in addition to the noble who loved him.

Subsequent to completing the quest upon arrival at the village, the party accepted its chief's additional request to eradicate the rest of the Goblins, only to find them having already fled from their nest because there was a Green Dragon next to it. Scared stiff by the apex monster's presence, the Newbie Succubus became further shocked when Dust who still owed her money and taught her a lot of acting skills suicidally volunteered to cover their escape. Anyhow fleeing for a short distance, she and the other girls began discussing how Dust who looked to be filled with lust possibly having an unknown side, before he surprisingly returned with the treasure gifted to him by the Dragon for helping it pull out a sword embedded into its leg. Next denying Dust's similarity to the famous Dragon Knight Lain Sheyka, the Newbie Succubus having gained confidence from the successful quest planned to use the experience for improving her dreams.

The Newbie Succubus days later had a squabble with Dust when he wandered to the Cafe over who has more friends, and was unexpectedly gifted a ticket for a free stay at Arcanletia. Although initially reluctant to approach that holy city, the mention of Vanir also going along made her throw all hesitations to the wind, so she began dressing up for the trip. Arriving on the day of the trip at the carriage terminal alongside Vanir, the Newbie Succubus secretly helped Dust set up a rigged log draw for deciding seating so that he can ride in one carriage with the girls in exchange for letting her share an inn room with the Archdemon. Faced with the sudden intervention by Vanir himself, however, the Succubus chose to abide by the All-Seeing Demon's plan, which rewarded her with riding in one carriage alongside him and the other girls while the human men were stuck riding on the other.

Following an uneventful day of traveling, the Newbie Succubus and the other girls huddled around the campfire after the caravan set up camp along the highway leading to Arcanletia. Her happy time chatting, however, was marred by the interruption of Dust's sexual harassment, so momentarily shutting her eyes upon a sudden gust of wind, she and the others chided the delinquent away.

Upon reaching Arcanletia on the ensuing day, the Newbie Succubus excitedly went to find Dust, only to be piqued by the sight of Rin cozying up to him. The Succubus accordingly discovered the holy steam wafting from the hot springs to be stinging, before being the group started getting beset by attempts from the locals to hardsell and convert them into the Axis Order. Met with suspicion by the Axis followers who expressed fanatical hostility towards Demons, when the group managed to reach the inn, the Newbie Succubus took care to avoid the hot springs' steam.

Unable to suppress her feelings for Dust, the Succubus despite acting nonchalant to mixed bathing nevertheless braved the stinging steam to follow the delinquent who had gone bathing in the mixed baths. She discovered to her indignation, however, that Yunyun and Rin were already there with Dust, so determined to keep him for herself, the Newbie Succubus decided to fight it out with the other girls. Suddenly splashed by cold water from Dust, she not only calmed down but also found the delinquent who ordered the girls to lewdly serve him appearing infuriatingly disgusting. Responding by pelting Dust with spells, the Newbie Succubus who clearly remembered what had transpired earlier on ran off embarrassed.

Like her other companions sans Dust who woke up late, on the following day the Newbie Succubus was approached on the streets by all sorts of conversion attempts by Axis followers, and returned to the inn all traumatised and wishing for the safety of the Cafe. Next helping bring along a load of photobooks featuring Vanir, she accompanied the Duke of Hell on an outing, which in fact involved him preaching at the fountain plaza about the awful antics of the Axis followers' patron goddess, much to the Succubus' horror. After her travelling companions were too drawn to the plaza, she presented the photobooks sealed with string for sale once the Archdemon changed his tune and falsely claimed the photobooks to be featuring Aqua, which the Newbie Succubus with the help of Dust's party and Yunyun sold off to the Axis followers. Upon the lunatics' extreme fury at finding themselves cheated once they cut the string and read the photobooks' contents, the terrified Newbie Succubus was pushed out of the throng by Vanir. She promptly fled alongside her other travelling companions, and successfully escaped back to the inn thanks to Dust splitting off and leading the pursuers to him.

The exhausted group afterwards took the carriage back to Axel, determined not to set foot in Arcanletia ever again, though the Newbie Succubus still kept a copy of the photobook. Once they arrived at the gates of Axel, however, she became surprised by the guards as well as the townsfolk acting sluggish from lack of motivation to work. Concerned about the Cafe, the Newbie Succubus rushed back to check on it, only to find her kin afflicted by the same phenomenon just like the male adventurers who now lacked sexual desire. The Succubus later heard from Dust's party that the cause was possibly located in a dungeon beneath some ancient ruins, so lacking other people capable of helping, she joined them and Yunyun on the journey there.

The Newbie Succubus though felt her motivation severely drained by the time their uneventful carriage ride to the ruins ended, and eventually had to be carried through the corridors inside by Dust. Later falling asleep in the abode of the dungeon's master, she groggily found herself held as hostage at swordpoint by the scummy delinquent for the purpose of forcing three gentlemanly men into surrendering. Unable to shake herself awake for escaping the dungeon as it accordingly began threatening to cave in, the Newbie Succubus was carried outside by one of the men, who took care to cautiously lay her down.

Although her motivation soon returned to normal, the Succubus barely had time to feel refreshed from the long nap, before she was faced with the Prototype Destroyer bursting out of the ruins, the flying stones from which those three men who actually were members of the lolicon criminals shielded her against until getting knocked out. Subsequent to Dust valiantly motivating them to destroy to scaled-down version of the Mobile Fortress Destroyer before it destroys Axel, the Newbie Succubus made the three men dream about their ideal situation, and offered to let the trio dream of more if they would fight for her. After the explosive destruction of the construct, the Succubus and the other girls approached Dust as he lay on the ground from the shockwave, and upon him asking them to come closer in a blatant attempt to peek under her skirt, the Newbie Succubus responded by stomping on his face. Returning to the remotivated Axel afterwards, she went off to prepare the promised dreams to the three men, and later on was handed her share of the rewards from the Guild by Dust.

At some point during the period, the Newbie Succubus while receiving lectures at the Cafe from Dust over how to make her dreams more erotic, was criticised over the lack of big-breasted women as well as the kimonos they wear being too difficult to take off, with the former especially maddening because the delinquent linked it to her own lack of breasts. Becoming increasingly piqued by his scummy advices, she proceeded to give him a dream where the big breasts were attached to an Orc, before taking a break from work in order to avoid Dust when he came knocking in fury.

Mid Summer Arc

The Newbie Succubus was also affected when a sudden drop in patrons courtesy of a Tranquility Girl taking root within the forest near the riverhead lake caused both her and her kin to starve, yet without combat abilities they were unable to go out into the countryside and deal with it themselves. She therefore went asking Vanir for help at Wiz's Shop, where Dust walked in with a bag of fruits from the Tranquility Girl. After explaining her problem to the delinquent as well as help Vanir drag the zapped Wiz into the storeroom, on the next day when Dust made a visit to the Cafe, the Newbie Succubus alongside the other Succubi began pampering him before asking for his protection during their trip for reclaiming their patrons.

Masquerading as the adventurer "Lolisa" again on the following day, she when setting out with Dust and Yunyun explained to the latter that the other Succubi who were covering themselves in hooded cloaks were her fellow villagers who needed escorting back home, and quelled any further questions by lauding the Crimson Demon as her reliable senior. She accordingly handed Dust who had been sizing her up unpleasantly a bottle of high-class wine as deposit, then criticised him for letting Yunyun do all the fighting against the monsters encountered. Later noticing on their way a familiar trio carting water from the lake, upon some seduced adventurers obstructing the team's way into the forest, the Newbie Succubus told the humans to charge ahead. As Dust accordingly got barred by more adventurers, she and her kin threw off their disguises to entice the adventurers back to the Cafe, until only those who regularly sought the Newbie Succubus' services stood with the trio of lolicon criminals in the Tranquility Girl's defence, though thanks to Dust threatening them with dreams about well-endowed women they soon capitulated. Following him and Yunyun's subsequent return after successfully eradicating the Tranquility Girl, the Newbie Succubus joined them as well as her kin and patrons back to Axel.

Hearing of how Kazuma, who became a member in the festival committee of the Eris Appreciation Festival, had obtained permission for revellers to dress up as Succubi so that the real ones can publicly walk around without covering up their appearances, the Newbie Succubus and the Cafe's receptionist on the close of the festival's second day paid a visit to the festival committee meeting. There they expressed their gratitude to Kazuma by pouring drinks for him, and spent the rest of the night entertaining the whole committee.

The Newbie Succubus wandered with her kin the festival during its third day, where she lined up at a stall opened by Vanir for selling replicas of his mask. And on the final day of the festival, she joined the Receptionist Succubus and Vanir who had shapeshifted into a Succubus Queen with participating in a beauty pageant held by the Eris Order, though despite initially captivating the audience, she soon had to walk off because of the uproar caused by the Duke of Hell upon him revealing his identity.

Having heard from Dust during his visit to the Cafe one day the thunderous news about Vanir falling in love with Luna, who was around the age of a baby demon, the Newbie Succubus grabbing her photobook of the Archdemon followed the Receptionist Succubus to Wiz's Shop, where she offered herself up to replace the human woman so that the Duke of Hell won't be considered a lolicon. The Newbie Succubus anyhow had the photobook signed by the Duke of Hell, and in a moment of excitement that was exacerbated by the approaching full moon, beseeched him to use his all-seeing powers for winning over the human woman.

The Succubus on the following day became incensed when a visit to the Guild told her that Vanir was filling in as the receptionist in place of the human woman whom he drank with and carried home on the night prior, though moved by the Duke of Hell's subsequent proclamation of interest in Luna, she spurred the receptionist to accept Vanir's offer of companionship. And despite being a fan of the Archdemon, even the Newbie Succubus joined in the rest of the audience with reprimanding Vanir when it turned out that he simply intended to publicly humiliate her for the human woman's exquisite negative emotions.

Joining Vanir on his walk upon noticing him in the streets one other day, the Newbie Succubus witnessed a member of the Yatagarasu attempting to pressure a fruit store owner into hiring them for "security services", and upon asking the Archdemon to intervene, heard him explain how the wily owner was trying to sell the member the fruit that he had damaged at inflated prices. The Succubus recognised by the member to be an employee of the Cafe was then solicitated the Yatagarasu's services, though she refused by citing the protection they enjoyed from the patrons.

The Newbie Succubus and her kin saw off another attempt by the Yatagarasu to pressure the Cafe into a contract a few days later thanks to the patrons' support, yet after many nights passed, the Cafe was suddenly raided by a mob of the thugs, prompting her to go call for help from Vanir. During their trip there, however, the Duke of Hell refused to aid them against those mere humans by citing the demonic creed of survival for the fittest, so after he criticised the Succubi about them growing soft under the human adventurers' protection, the Newbie Succubus proclaimed fighting for the pride of her kind.

But when they reached the Cafe, she witnessed her kin despite already having defeated the Yatagarasu, were now faced with the murderous Aqua, who the Succubus learned to her shock was the goddess of the Axis Order. The terrified Newbie Succubus anyhow offered to help her kin hold Aqua back so Vanir can escape, though her standing up for the demonkind's pride prompted the Duke of Hell to stand up in defence of the Succubus Cafe. Subsequent to Kazuma arriving to pacify the situation, the Newbie Succubus on the next day helped represent the Cafe in agreeing to a truce with Aqua at Wiz's Shop.
