A Destroyer in this Everyday Life! (この日常にデストロイヤーを！, Kono Nichijō ni Desutoroiyā wo!) is the twenty-sixth chapter of the KonoSuba Nichijou manga series.
Summary[]
Having taken a Destroyer miniature from the Crimson Magic Village in secret, only to have it discovered by Kazuma one night, Aqua frantically tells an irate Kazuma that she had built it, only to have the skeptical Kazuma threaten to drink her hidden stash of bubbly if she is lying.
After Aqua is forced to own up, Kazuma initially chides her for bringing all kinds of things back like a dog. But his mood changes upon hearing that the miniature is a premier product, so subsequent to uncovering Aqua's intention of keeping all the money from its sale by herself, he proposes splitting it between the two of them while keeping the other members of their party in the dark, which gives Aqua mixed feelings.
Planning to sell the miniature tomorrow, Kazuma tells Aqua to polish it. Yet when Aqua takes it out of the glass case, the miniature suddenly moves on its own and runs from the room. Kazuma and Aqua thus pursue the miniature which is as speedy as a cockroach before the others find out, yet Megumin and Darkness still end up noticing it when the miniature knocks Chomusuke over. Aqua in her panic blurts out her intention of secretly selling the miniature, making the other girls and Kazuma furious for different reasons.
Kazuma manages to talk the other girls into chasing the miniature to the front door so they can share the money after the Aqua waiting outside catches it, but when she grabs the miniature as it comes running out, the miniature self-detonates and blows her into a daze. The miniature is later discovered to be a model that springs into activity after absorbing magical power, and as Darkness says how she should have been the one to catch it much to Kazuma's annoyance, the party's money-making scheme goes up in ashes.
