Pretty Girl Figurines in this Everyday Life! (この日常に美少女フィギュアを！, Kono Nichijō ni Bishōjo Figya wo!) is the twenty-seventh chapter of the KonoSuba Nichijou manga series.
Summary[]
One day at Wiz's Shop, Vanir hears from Kazuma a suggestion to make pretty girl figurines, since places like the Crimson Demon Village which actually puts one up for worship may need them, in addition to them potentially becoming popular with a niche like how the toy Destroyers did. Looking into the future to discover an interesting result, Vanir agrees to the proposal.
As they discuss the specifics of production, Kazuma suggests designing them to move like the Vanir Dolls and other movable toys, though he gets a little disappointed when told that the dolls won't be sentient and thus cannot become like a certain fairy. Vanir soon displays a completed prototype figurine made in her image, into which an excited Kazuma inputs magical power to make it move. However, Kazuma's meagre magical power can only let the figurine walk a few steps before another recharge is needed, therefore only people with high magical power like Vanir and Megumin may be able to make it operate longer, something impossible to achieve by the average adventurer.
Despite trying to make improvements on it, the figurine of that design cannot move unless supplied with a lot of energy, so subsequent to chiding Vanir for his failure, Kazuma scraps the plan of releasing movable figurines and leaves. Unknown to Kazuma, however, Vanir did foresee a part of the future that is interesting to the Demon, while the figurine that got thrown out in the rubbish starts moving.
Afterwards at their mansion, Aqua hands to Kazuma as a gift the same figurine, which she had picked up near the town's rubbish dump. Kazuma though tells her that he had thrown it out himself, so the disappointed goddess has to discard it in the rubbish she takes to the dump. She however doesn't notice the figurine breaking out of the bag, as the future Vanir had foreseen begins taking shape.
