A Switching in this Everyday Life! (この日常に入れ替わりを！, Kono Nichijō ni Irekawari wo!) is the thirty-first chapter of the KonoSuba Nichijou manga series.
Summary[]
Following the battle against the Devil King's army in which Kazuma got himself killed by Kobolds before Aqua Resurrected him, while resting in his room with Megumin, Kazuma received a visit from Iris who wore a necklace filled with magical power, and upon him uttering the Japanese script inscribed onto it, he and Iris ended up switching bodies. Realising that the necklace is one of the divine items granted by Aqua, Kazuma hopes the effects will wear out before the banquet that night, followed by Iris begging him for a favour.
Soon Iris finds herself freely walking on the streets alongside Megumin, who tells her to act like the Kazuma she now inhabits in order to prevent suspicion, before the Arch Wizard is grossed out by the look of her eyes on Kazuma's face. After some lecturing, Iris begins to act more naturally as she curiously looks around, so Megumin takes her to a food stand, where to the princess' shock she is allowed to perform the behaviour of buying food to eat. Later as they enjoy the skewered octopus legs, Megumin is amused by what seemingly appears to be Kazuma eating skewers elegantly, following which they try out hamburgers and bubble tea.
After having a fun time eating, Megumin suggests they return in preparation for the banquet, when Iris calls for walking through an alleyway. As they proceed along the narrow alley, Megumin notices heading towards them are three thugs, who she expects will try to hit on a pretty young girl like herself and spark a conflict. Yet to her surprise, the thugs take a glance at her before looking away in disinterest. The enraged Megumin therefore dupes Iris into provoking the thugs just as Kazuma exploits his situation to bathe with Claire and Darkness, resulting in Kazuma being faced with three angry thugs ready to beat him up upon switching back to his original body.
