In the anime, Norris is a chinboy and nosey man with slight wrinkles and wearing a "queen's guard" outfit.[2]

Norris is very loyal to the Dustiness household, and takes his duties very seriously, though his insistence on checking over seemingly trivial signs of trouble is sometimes seen by his colleagues as cowardice and paranoia.
History[]
Subsequent to Ignis mysteriously falling ill and Darkness agreeing to marry Alderp, on a night several days before the wedding, Norris was patrolling the Dustiness residence' corridors alongside a colleague, when he heard something strange from an empty room. Unable to find anything out of the ordinary when briefly scanning the room, he and his colleague went to the kitchen asking the cook for a midnight snack. Sometime afterwards, both of them rushed to Darkness' room because they heard her yelling about an intruder, yet when they reached her bedroom door, the heiress instead explained it as her getting too excited when pleasuring herself, and asked them to leave since she was in an indecent state. Yet moments later, Norris too was summoned by an enraged Darkness to join other guards on a hunt around the mansion for Kazuma who had snuck in, and followed her to Ignis' room where they eventually found him before he escaped through the window.

In the manga, he is a youthful man with loosely combed hair who dresses in a servant suit in addition to wearing glasses.[3]
