Shack (シャック) was a notorious criminal swordsman who mainly targeted women.[1]

Shack is depicted as a large bearded man wearing a top hat and an overcoat over his suit, in addition to carrying a katana-like sword.
Personality[]
Shack is generally regarded as a pervert, due to him targeting women and slashing their clothing to pieces.
History[]
Despite being an expert swordsman, Shack used his abilities on terrorising townsfolk especially women out in the streets at night, during which he only cut up their clothes and left their bodies unharmed.

Swordsmanship: Shack is known to display rarely seen expert swordsmanship.
Magic: Since his sword requires the wielder to possess above average magical power for it to cut anything, Shack is assumed to have some potency in magic.

Sword of Shack the Ripper: A magical sword designed like a katana, which expends the magical power of its wielder to make it capable of cutting through any nonliving object. When wielded by someone with little or no magical power, or is used against living targets, the sword is but a harmless blunt sword. It was one of the things discovered by the Adventurer Guild at Shack's hideout, and was taken to be tested out by various adventurers, during which Megumin unintentionally released its potential.
