Appearance[]
Snow Sprites look like drifting white fluffy balls the size of a palm, with two dark dots for eyes.
Overview[]
Snow Sprites are weak monsters that inhabit freezing locations like snowy fields, and are active during wintertime. It is said that whenever one is captured or killed, then spring will arrive half a day earlier.
Quests to subjucate Snow Sprites are considered highly difficult, though, since despite the sprites themselves being weak, their capture or demise will attract the attention of the terrifying Winter Shogun.
Variations[]
- Cherry Blossom Front (桜前線): A cherry-coloured sprite of spring that appears in Shangri-La.[2]
- Kesaran Pasaran (ケサランパサラン): A bigger cousin of Snow Sprites that look like puffballs, and are protected by a Great Spirit if attacked.[3]
- Rainy Season Start (梅雨入り): A blue sprite of rainy season that appears in the Underwater Temple.[4]
Abilities[]
- Embodiment of Winter: Snow Sprites contain an essence of winter, thus when captured they can be used as ice packs for refrigeration.
