Wolbach (ウォルバク) is a Goddess of Violence and Sloth. She was eventually split in two and sealed by the Axis Order. The Sealing Stone was eventually taken by the Crimson Magic Clan to use as a tourist attraction for their village.
History
Approximately 8 years prior to the main series, a young Megumin was playing with the complex sealing stone and accidentally released Wolbach and her other half, which went on a rampage. Wolbach used Explosion to defeat the beast and save Megumin, then drained the beast of most of its power and size, turning it into a small cat before resealing it, intending to come back for it at a later date.
Abilities
Explosion Magic: Wolbach is best known to enemies for her mastery of Explosion magic. Most notably, even in her divided state, she can use it and still have enough mana remaining for an additional spell. It was witnessing Wolbach in action, as well as awe of her bust size, that sparked Megumin's lifelong devotion to Explosion magic.
Teleport: Wolbach is an especially difficult opponent because of her combination of Explosion Magic and Teleport. She can instantly enter a battle, cause massive damage to enemy forces, and then retreat before the enemy has a chance to respond. This also allows her to recover her mana in safety while her troops provide protection.
